In the morning, after guests have been picked up in Boston, we will drive to Carmel, NY to visit the Chuang Yen Monastery. Then, we will visit the Mahayana Temple in Leeds, NY. Afterwards, we will return to Boston. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Chuang Yen Monastery
This Buddhist temple in New York sits on 225 acres of beautiful land and is home to the largest indoor statue of Buddha in the United States. The name translates to "majestically adorned."

Albany is the capital city of the U.S. state of New York. Roughly 150 miles (240 km) north of New York City, Albany sits on the west bank of the Hudson River, about 10 miles (16 km) south of its confluence with the Mohawk River.
Founded in 1962, this large Buddhist temple in Leeds, NY can be found in the heart of the forest. The facility is comprised of 5 buildings in total, each with their own unique design.

City Passes: No City Passes or any other kind of outside promotional offer may be used on this tour. Guests who buy tickets to attractions from elsewhere will not be provided with transportation.
Child Seat: Children aged under 8 yrs will have to have car seat to take our tours. Customers will need to prepare car seats themselves, tour operator is not responsible to provide car seats.

Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 yrs old. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses. Children sharing a room with 2 adult passengers pay the same price as a third or fourth adult. Please note that each hotel room can only accommodate up to 4 guests of any age.
All hotel and tour schedules are arranged in advance. NO REFUNDS will be given to any customer failing to appear on the departure day.

Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 36 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status.
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
Terms & Condition
BOOKING AND RESERVATION
All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before the departure date. The passenger may make a reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At the time of reservation, the passenger may require to provide name, phone number, and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.
All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGE POLICY
All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details:
(Notification day and departure day are not counted) 10% of the total fee will be charged if cancel or change more than 14 days before departure (not including departure date).
25% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 8 to 14 days before departure date (not including departure date).
50% of total fee will be charged if cancel or change within 4 to 7 days before departure date (not including departure date).
Absolutely NO refund (exchangeable) on all cancellations or postponements within 3 days prior to departure (not including departure date).
All concert tickets and bus tickets are NOT refundable or exchangeable.
Passenger must present ticket(s) at time of refund; all refunds will be issued by company check or credit card only. (Absolutely NO cash refund).
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
BOARDING TIME AND PLACE All passengers must arrive 30 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show a photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets.
Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after the reservation is made.
TRAVEL INSURANCE Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
RESPONSIBILITY (1)Tour operator reserves the right to substitute hotels and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of the tour.
(2)Tour operator reserves the right to alter the tour program and itinerary order may be different than displayed online, the tour guide will arrange it accordingly depending on the traffic, hotel arrangement, and attractions opening time, etc.
(3)Tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. By accepting our policy, the passenger must agree that the tour operator shall hold no responsibilities in itinerary alterations, delays or cancellation strikes, sickness, theft, loss, accidents, weather, bus issues or any other causes.
(4)Each group requires a minimum of 10 passengers to operate a departure. The tour operator reserves the right to cancel a departure due to not meeting this basic requirement. Liability for such cancellation is limited to a full refund of the money received by us, and this will constitute full settlement with Tour Department.
(5)Tour operator reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any tour member for any reason before or during the tour.
(6)All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
(7)All itineraries are subject to change without notice.
(8)All passengers must obtain a valid passport and all entry/exit visa as required by immigration regulation.
(9)If the passenger has any special request to leave the tour in a certain place during the tour, it is their responsibility to notify tour operator in advance to confirm upon booking the tour.
(10)Passenger must be self-reliant; those who require assistance must be accompanied by a friend or relative. Tour operator is NOT able to provide individual assistance for any passenger.
(11)Passengers should inform the escort or hotel reception if they are to use the hotel swimming pool. All children should be accompanied by their parents while using the pool. No lifeguard on premises swim at your own risk.
(12)Passenger(s) are responsible for his or her belonging(s). Tour operator will NOT longer provide services to track or trace any personal item(s).
