Day 1: Boston - Niagara Falls (467 miles)

We will leave Boston for the Niagara Falls. When we arrive, we will take the famous Jet Boat Ride, or we will take the Maid of the Mist (summer schedule). Also, you will have the opportunity to see the Niagara Falls Adventure Movie and Niagara Falls Night tour.

Among the most beautiful natural wonders in the world, Niagara Falls are comprised of three waterfalls that thunder and astound, producing a higher flow rate than any other waterfall in the world and standing at a height of 167 feet.

  • This exciting 45-minute boat ride along the Niagara Gorge operates in winter as long as the water isn't frozen. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is climate-controlled, while passengers outside will get wet, so dress accordingly.
    Visit only when Maid of Mist is closed.

Option 1: Niagara Falls - Boston (467 miles)

Today we will continue our exploring in the Niagara Falls by visit Goat Island, which offers another view of Horseshoe Falls. Cave of the Winds (close in winter) offers you the opportunity that taking you closer to the water of the falls than you thought. We will also have the Niagara Falls In-depth Tour. After the full day in Niagara Falls, we would back to Boston.

  • Goat Island is a formation at the top of Niagara Falls that exists as a result of the river splitting before it tumbles over the edge. It is the closest you can get to the top of the twin waterfalls.
  • The Cave of the Winds on the New York side of Niagara Falls is an attraction which allows people to walk along pathways on the river at the base of the American Falls. It is open in the summer.

Option 2: Niagara Falls - Thousand Islands - Boston (452 miles) (Limited for departure dates 5/25, 7/6, 8/31, 10/12)

Today we will head to Thousand Islands, take a Thousand Islands Cruise. Then head back to Boston, See "Departure and Return Details" for pickup and dropoff information.

Available for departures from Apr thru Nov. The Thousand Islands is an archipelago at the Canada-U.S. border from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles. The U.S. islands are in the state of New York and the Canadian islands are in Ontario. The smaller islands only have single residences.
